WINA, in cooperation with its member company NISSIN FOODS (U.S.A.) CO., INC., donated 100,000 servings of instant noodles "Top Ramen" as relief ration to the affected region of the wildfire in Maui, the U.S. state of Hawaii.Furthermore, Nissin Foods USA provided an additional 50,000 servings of instant noodles separately from the joint relief with WINA as part of the company's own relief efforts, also with the cooperation of the Hawaii Foodbank.

WINA, in cooperation with its member company OBAMIE NOODLE, donated 100,000 servings of instant noodles (OBAMIE NOODLE) as relief ration to the affected region of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

WINA, in cooperation with its member company PT NISSIN FOODS INDONESIA, donated 100,000 servings of instant noodles (GEKIKARA pas) as relief ration to the affected region of the earthquake in Java, Indonesia. The donated instant noodles were distributed with the cooperation of a local volunteer group.

Displaced People in Ukraine and Hungary

WINA, in cooperation with its member companies NISSIN FOODS Kft. (Hungary) and NISSIN FOODS GmbH (Germany) donated 100,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency rations to the displaced people in Ukraine and Hungary. The donated instant noodles were distributed with the cooperation of the local Red Cross and private support groups.

Typhoon Rai in the Philippines (2021)

WINA donated 100,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency rations to the stricken region of Typhoon Rai (or Odette in the Philippines) in the Philippines. It was a joint relief effort with Universal Robina Corporation, a member company of WINA and the company’s subsidiary Nissin Universal Robina Corporation.

Hurricane in Guatemala

WINA, in cooperation with its member company Nissin Foods De Mexico S.A. De C.V. (Mexico), donated 100,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency rations to the stricken region of Hurricane “Eta” in Guatemala. The COVID-19 Epidemic in the USA

WINA, in cooperation with its member company with Nissin Foods (USA), donated some 64,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency rations to people affected by the spread of COVID-19 infection in California and Pennsylvania. It was distributed as emergency foods to people in need through local food banks.

WINA donated some 200,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency ration to earthquake-stricken Nepal. It was the joint relief effort with Nissin Foods Group. For the reasons of taste similarity and geographic proximity, India-based Indo Nissin Foods shipped out bag-type instant noodles. The products were transported by a land route to the national border with Nepal. The products were then delivered to the quake victims with the full support of C.G. Foods, a WINA member in Nepal.

8 WINA member companies based in China supplied their relief products via the National Red Cross and the Qinghai Civil Administration Bureau. Tingyi Holding Corp., Baixiang Group and Jinmailang Foods carried truckloads of instant noodles to the affected area from their nearby production plants.

Earthquake in Haiti

WINA donated 128,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency ration to Quake-hit Haiti.Nissin Foods (U.S.A.) Co.,Inc. supplied their relief products via NPO, which has vast experience in relief to Haiti. The products supplied by the Brazil-based company Nissin-Ajinomoto Alimentos Ltda. were airlifted to the disaster area by Brazilian military-cargo plane.

Earthquake in Sumatra, Indonesia

WINA, in cooperation with the following members, donated total 300,000 servings of instant noodles to the victims suffered from the great earthquake in Sumatra, Indonesia. PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk supplied them directly to the people at 8 different locations such schools and city halls around Padang city.
PT. Nissinmas and Nestlé Products Sdn. Bhd. presented to the government agencies their relief products, which were then airlifted to the disaster area.

Flood in Bihar, India

WINA supplied 78,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency ration to flood-stricken India. In order to respond swiftly to the shortage there, a WINA-member company based in India, Indo Nissin Foods Ltd. supplied their relief products via National Red Cross.

WINA supplied total 700,000 servings of instant noodles to quake-hit Sichuan, China.
The products were supplied by WINA Governor / Member companies which have production plants near the affected areas. "WINA Disaster Relief Fund" was used.

Cyclone in Myanmar

WINA donated total 300,000 servings of instant noodles as emergency ration to cyclone-stricken Myanmar. The products were supplied by WINA Governor companies.
Thai President Foods arranged it through their factory in Myanmar. Acecook Vietnam also arranged the shipment.
This was the first use of "WINA Disaster Relief Fund".

Typhoon Durian

IRMA (the forerunner of WINA) donated more than 100,000 instant noodles for the victims suffered from a typhoon, which struck southern part of Luzon, Philippines, on December 1, 2006. Universal Robina Corporation, a member of WINA in the Philippines, arranged the shipment to three different sites: Rotary Club in Legaspi on Dec. 9, Provincial Governor Office in Camarines Sur on Dec. 13, and Philippine Disaster coordinating Center in Sorsogon on Dec.15. The donated products were Payless (Universal Robina), Pancit Canton and Yakisoba (Nissin Universal Robina).

Earthquake in Java, Indonesia

WINA donated 187,000 servings of instant noodles as relief ration to the stricken region of earthquake in Java, Indonesia. It was a joint relief effort with Indofood (Indonesia) and PT. Nissinmas (Indonesia), two member companies of WINA. The products were delivered to the quake victims directly at eight distributing stations Indofood set up.
